Several TNA Wrestlers Talk About Leaving Company

Source: Wrestling Observer Newsletter

Several TNA wrestlers have expressed thoughts about leaving the company as of late. Those wrestlers include Homicide, Hernandez, Sonjay Dutt, Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley.

Upper management has asked all of them to stay until the two hour shows start (tapings are being held this Monday and Tuesday), at which point they'll get more television time.

A few of the wrestlers in question are interested in leaving TNA for Japan.

Man Homicide and Hernandez were hot for along time. LAX was one of the few things TNA was doing right, then konnan leaves in june and they stop LAX's heat dead in its tracks for no reason. They would be wise to leave Homicide could go back to ROH and easly become Champion agian and Hernandez could quit possibly go with him and continue LAX on the Indies and make it better. As for Sonjay Dutt TNA has never used him right so he would be better off IMO going back to Zero-One in Japan. Shelly &Sabin like Homicide and Hernandez could continue the Motor City Machine Guns on the indies going to PWG, ROH, and verous other north eastern indies. If all five of these guys leave it will be to me a smaller scale Benoit,Maleniko,Gerruero, & Saturn departure as TNA will lose strong mid card talent, that will leave a dent in the Roster.

Hey,

I think this is pretty interesting dilemma for a lot of TNA talents. If the rumblings about low-morale in the locker-room are true (and frankly I can understand why talents would be disgruntled with the way TNA presents itself, especially with the choice additions of Pacman and Karen Angle to the roster), then I think this is a tough choice for mid-card TNA talents. The guys you mentioned in particular, are 'names' who could do very well on the Indy circuit, but then that in turn means taking a pay-cut and a substantially increased schedule. On the other hand, with TNA going to two hours, and talents paid 'per-appearence', in principle at least, TNA talents are all looking at a substantial pay-rise, and likely more tv-time. I can imagine that a lot of wrestlers are considering what they can achieve elsewhere, but if the money and schedule are right, then I doubt anyone will be moving on.
